In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. 

In September 2019, the UN Secretary-General called on all sectors of society to mobilise for a decade of action to generate an unstoppable movement pushing for the required transformations.
